CHURCH CHOIRS
CHOIR PRACTICES EVERY
WEDNESDAY
CHERUB CHOIR: Pam Rud, director
The Cherub Choir is for children in Grades 1-3. We will practice on
Wednesdays at the church. We will be singing some old favorites as well as
learning some new songs. We will also be learning about music as it
pertains to the worship services. We will be singing in church about one
time a month. Please join us for this exciting opportunity.
TWINKLING BELLS: Ruth Ahrndt, director
A beginning bell choir open to kids in grades 4-6. We will practice on
Wednesdays at the church. Later this fall we will try to play once a month at
one of the services. Come and join the fun! No experience necessary.
JUNIOR CHOIR:
If you like to sing, bang out a rhythm, hang out with your friends, have
fun, and are in grade 4, 5, or 6 you should join the Junior Choir. We will
practice on Wednesdays at the church. We will sing at least once a month
at a Sunday service. Join the fun!
CELEBRATION RINGERS: Ruth Ahrndt, director
A bell choir open to adults and high school students. We meet on Wednesdays
at the church. We play at least once a month for worship. A musical background
is helpful!
SENIOR CHOIR: Jan Goff, director; Marilyn Inman, accompanist
The Sr. Choir has approximately 35 SATB voices. We are always looking
and listening for new members. Rehearsal time is Wednesday evening at 7:00
p.m. We provide anthems regularly for worship service from September through
May. We present a Cantata at Christmas or Easter each year and take part
in the annual Community Christmas Concert. There are other opportunities
from within the choir-solos, small mixed ensembles, men's or women's
groups. We have fun, we are "casually structured" but we get a
lot accomplished. If music is your gift from God, this is a wonderful
opportunity to share it with others and use it in joyful praise to the Giver.
